Module 3 Overview

Module 3 Overview
Having accessible media within your course is important to your student's success in understanding your course material. What do I mean by "accessible media?" Accessible media would be images, Word documents, PowerPoints, Canvas Studio videos, mp4 videos, gifs, voice recordings, PDFs, or anything of the sort that meets WCAG 2.0 A/AA standards. This is significant because many times it can be overlooked when including media within your courses that is required for course engagement.
Learning Outcomes
In this module, I will learn:
- how to include concise and meaningful alternative text.
- how to accurately caption videos and voice recordings included in course content.
- how to determine whether a document is accessible.
- the importance of including an accessible version of a document.
