Can't Find/Access Your Canvas Course?

Below are some probable causes and solutions.

Later Start Date

Login to your MyTC account.
On your MyTC dashboard, select the "Registration (Cougar Tracks)" link.
Select the "View Registration Information" link.
Use the drop-down menu to set the "Term" to the current term.
In the Title column, select the course title link. A dialog window will open.
Select the "Instructor/Meeting Times" tab.
If the course's start date is later than the present day, then your course is most likely unpublished until the course starts.

Not Favorited

With your Canvas dashboard open, expand the "Courses" button on the global navigation menu.
In the "Courses" side panel,

Still Waitlisted

If your instructor has reached out to you about being added to course after being waitlisted, please visit How to Add a Course (Waitlist Add).

Course is Unpublished

Faculty have until the end of the business day the first day that the course starts to publish the course. If the course is still not published by the second day of the course, please contact Distance Education at (661)763-7917 or desupport@taftcollege.edu.
